This is just a POL update, so I don't think it will affect FFXI at all.

Do you know if they have another version up planned for FFXI before the expansion comes out or will the server be down at all on the Thursday? Not much point trying to do a flying get on Wednesday if I can't play it...

I have been literally translating the official information which has directly been sent to the webmasters of the Commuinity Site listed at PlayOnline.com by e-mail. Square Enix has listed the URL for my website, and they send us latest and most accurate information every time they work on server maintenance.

If you still insist on your opinion, you are free to continue playing the game and lose your character data.

:p

Oh sorry, I thought you added the bit about the Auction House, not them.

I have my own job before doing this volunteer translating work for you all. I got this information on April 7, but I had no time to translate until today.

First of all, Square Enix doesn't provide any support for users abroad and someone like me has to do this kind of work for nothing... And the information is more likely to be late to tell... :(

I hear several cases that player lose their items or money because of using Auction House slightly before the maintenance work and losing the items that they have exhibited at AH and the money that they have gained by actually selling them.

There were some people crying over for spilt milk on this forum too.
I don't want to hear such cries any more, and that's why I shout in this way.

First let me say, I really appreciate the work you are doing. Thank you :)
I have a real job too, and that's one of the reasons I find it tough to play FFXI so much.

I lost money with the Auction House problem myself. But I believe this problem has only happened once and it was related to server maintenance for FFXI. I was just guessing that this maintenance is related only to POL, not FFXI servers. Anyway, I didn't mean to cause you any offence and I'm sorry if I upset you.

Thanks for your high quality translations and keep up the good work! ‚±‚ê‚©‚ç‚à‹X‚µ‚_‚¨Šè‚¢’v‚µ‚Ü‚·?B

I understand what you meant.
It is right they state that they will update PlayOnline Viewer only this time. But what we must be careful about is that Final Fantasy XI and other game contents will be unavailable at the same time for this time.

I am sorry for your losing money at the AH once before. I hope it will never happen again to anyone here.

And thank you for all of your kind supporting messages.
