Fame (reputation) can be checked by asking either of NPCs at the following area.

Windurst Waters (North) F-10
South San d'Oria K-5

The title in your name, when someone check you, is given based upon the latest quest you have completed. So if you see someone's title, that title indicates which quest they have just completed.

For each quest you finish, you get a new title.
