But, why would a Vet give you their linkshell if you've only been playing for 6 weeks?

The best place to post for this would be in your server forum. Nobody on a different server can give you the information you need, and soo...we're kinda useless to you.

By Senior/Veteran does that mean senior citizen or veteran player such as a person who's played a lot of MMO's. You really need to clarify what you're trying to say.

Your best bet is to stick around here and do a bit of reading and get a LS with people who are leveling up alongside you and make good friends with them rather than with all the old-heads around Vana'diel, trust me you'll have more fun that way.

My fault for not being explicit,what i meant was im a level 42/war/mnk, and was hoping i could joina Ls , of seniors and or mil. veterns, my Server use is Caithsith, my apoligies........ ty

There are several different LS of players with experience. They have entry requirements based upon your job level (e.g. level 60, rank 6, etc.)

Honestly I'm no longer active in many of those shells, but am active in some social (all levels) and a Dynamis Linkshell.

P.S. If you're from Bastok, you might look up the BastokFinest LS. I used to be very active but haven't equiped the pearl in over two months. Its been around for several years and has had its ups and downs and name changes.
