lol, darn words and their multiple meanings. I was thinking the Character Creation page and Character Selection as the same thing... Really annoying my mind is compensating to much for what the people here at work do with f****** up my report titles.

How the heck is it so easy for them to screw it up and ask for a Sales Report when they mean a Net Profit Report. They are totally different, Sales being the money the customer gave us for purchase of a product and Net Profit after taking Sales and removing the cost for advertisement and such. But nnnooooooo they confuse those two so much it's getting me now... :vent:

ok i was refering to the music on the select/create/delete choose the char. to log in with screen, ive removed it before just dont remember the .dat or know if it would be the same.

and yes i mule that much that i hate it, u cant turn the volume down on it whereas in game, i have all sound off. i lvl choco digging currently lvl7 and i get alot of stuff, i sell alot of stuff, i mule alot of stuff ; ;

also lvling cooking where most recipes have 8 ingredients most of which are jacked on ah and obtainable by muling to the regional vendor.

i enjoy listening to real music during my endless hours online, and i hate that log on music
so if u could help me out with removing it, it would be greatly appreciated.

i looked in sound/2/3/4 > win > music > data

none of them have music242.bgw...

edit music108.bgw and music242.bgw were the old music, those are the ones i had already removed, the dont exist in my game but i still have the new music, so that aint it

If you installed ToAU, then it's a completely different song. Someone might know which one it is, but since the ToAU music is using that new format, it might be hard to tell which file it is because it can't be played outside the game.

I spent awile looking for it, logging in and out of FFXI over and over intill the music dispeard & when I found the right file. And that is it above. Itll get rid of that really irritating music.

Lol, I completely disabled my FFXI sound ages ago, for a few reasons.. One of them is that it lags my game, when i play on high resolution settings. Another reason, if you turn down the sound in-game to like 0%, it still isn't completely gone, you can still hear it if you have your windows sound turned up high, which i do a lot to listen to music in Windows Media Player, so that's annoying too. Reason 3, even IF you turn all sounds down, those ANNOYING <calls> don't go away!!! >.< I hate those so much, and as far as I know, no one found a way to remove them yet.

o an sweetkitty its been posted in several places how to remove the calls, i just dont recall where, i could use a link if u find it as i need to remove/replace all the loud ones
