Request: Chocobo -> Tiger

I asked it before, and someone said it would be best to reskin the tigers skeleton over the chocobo's? I don't know what is meant by that, let alone how to do it, but if anyone has some spare time and will to do this, i'd be looking forward to it. *misses riding tigers on WoW*

I second that!! I wanna ride one! maybe we can make a type for every race? maybe galka can ride a ram, tarus can ride a leech, humes have tigers, mithra have....hmm.... well anyways.. cant think of what else other races would ride just because its been so long since I played but you get the idea lol

I suspect the game use the same model, just resized, so you can't have race specific ones.

Um... Just dat swap the chocobo for the mob you want to ride. Sure there's no dismount animation, but it's faster.

What sweetkitty is asking for is a chocobo with striped feathers.

Yes, it will crash your game if you dismount or dig on a Choco-dat swap.

To effectively do this, you would need to ;

¤Load the Choco Model in VRS.
¤Strip away all Vertices and Polygons, as well as materials, while retaining the Skeleton.
¤Load the other NPC Model and dispose of the Skeletal model.
¤Reset everyone of the Mob's Skeletal Weights to match up to the Choco's.

And that's only so you can save the file after you've done the importing. Then, you have to spend awhile setting the SW to make sure it moves fluidly.

And THAT is gonna be fun, especially for a 2-legged to 4-legged conversion.

If you weight the legs of the tiger model to the chocobo skeleton, it's just going to look stupid. Might as well stand him up on his hind legs and have you strattling his shoulders. >.>

if ya try to dismount, it'll freeze you for about 20 minutes, but you can still type.....
