Hey, I am thinking of coming back this month or next. I am not really sure if I should go ahead and get either of the new expansions since my only character was level 15 or so...
Is there any reason to pick up ToA or CoP?
Is there any reason to attempt to reactivate over starting from scratch?
Thank you thank you :)

Since you only made it to 15 I'd personally just start from scratch. As for the expansions... I'd get them closer to around level 30, that's when you can do promy's and get the new jobs from ToAU.

Is there any way to buy just the CoP expansion?

ebay is probably your best bet. stores don't seem to carry it anymore (replaced by the $29.99 vanadiel collection DVD).

Hm, I can't seem to remember my PlayOnline ID anyway so I think I am going to have to pick up the Vana'diel Collection and RoA later this month.

I would come back but dont invest in the expansion pack until your sure your going to stay on. Like today i pre ordered the new expansion pack for me..HEHHE
i really dont see any use for cop/toau because they'll be roughly lvl 30+areas, and you wont PT in them until like...60+, (bibikibay, sea, lufaise meadows etc)
you should pick up ToAu if you want the new jobs tho :D

I can't reuse my old keys and I forgot my pol ID so I need to pick up the RoZ/CoP bundle anyway at this point.
definitely get the DVD collection :) And just register the whole thing.

Actually VD is not that bad at all when you can get a pt... sometimes very difficult to find a pt your level range... but im guessin vd will be full of life again with new expansion and new jobs coming. Most of the pt's there now are veterans doing new jobs so it's not quite the newb fest it used to be.

I am thinking of going with WHM->18 then BLM->36 then WHM->37 and taking BLM up to 75. Probably with an Elvaan since Taru make me /cry
