Error POL 0020

Sorry to ask but I tried searching the forum but couldn't find an answer to my question. I am using a PS2.

I encountered an 'Error POL 0020' and could not log into the screen where I can click 'game'.

Everything was working fine up till friday. But on Sat afternoon, this 'error' occured and lasted till Sun, and still wont go away.

I'm using cable-modem. It works fine since I can still surf the internet.
So, does the problem lies with my service provider or the server in JP?
Unfortunately, I"m unable to post any pics here to show you.
But this is what I gathered:

[DNS server answer 'arimasen'
'jikan' ... try again
Cable, modem, network
Provider information check.]
