Ok i know this prolly isnt the right place to post this, but i figured my question would get answered quickly here, and thats good considering i have 9 ppl at gun point and 3 of them are gone if this game isnt running in the next 4 hours. *grin* i love you mom!1:evil: But anyway. Everytime i try to install the game it gets to 23% with the pic of the superfly mithra on the choco in the top right corner, then the game just stops sits there for a little bit and tells me to verify that a certain file exists and gives me the option to retry or cancel. any help would be nice.

That happened to me when I was reloading FFXI cause of a certain screw up with another program... -w-;;; Anywho! ^w^;;; It appeared but I just continued to load without giving it one minds' thought, y'know? When it was done and I went in to play FFXI it acted the same as it always had: me running from mobs, fishing, etc.

is it a .cab file or something like that? I had that problem when I first tried to install FFXI back in Dec. '04 and so did a lot of other people. Just go over the CD with a Q-Tip carefully or try a different drive if that sounds like the problem you're having.
