There's already numerous spells in the game that have been there for years but never implemented. Bio 3, Holy 2 and Meteo come to mind. I can't imagine JA's would be much different.

{That's interesting.}
There are tons there but the ones that aren't available have no description. These do now.

Puppetmaster skills maybe? All with the same MP cost... that's odd.

Looks like geomancer abilities to me. The mp cost is alittle outrageous though.

Grand Fall and Heavenly Strike make me think summoner.

Some of those JA/spells have been in the game data for a long time now. One example, that I know about for sure, is Heavenly Strike. Check out this topic... specifically taz's original post, post #47, and if you want to see the video, post #41.

Heavenly Strike is an ability that only the NPC avatars can use. PC SMNs that summon Shiva won't have the Heavenly Strike ability. What taz did in the video was he swapped the Blizzard IV animation with the NPC only Heavenly Strike animation.
I'm guessing these abilities are going to be available to SMNs via merit points.

Yeah I assume SMNs will finally be able to learn these abilities now...which is probably why SE is changing (and what they are changing) about with SMN skill, to make it effect those skills more then likely ^^, we'll see~

Or more likely, NPC only abilities.

as some of the posters at theorderls are pointing out, these abilities are used by the Prime avatars.

Think this is key thing to their reasoning of the spells becoming usable for the PC SMNs. If most of those spells were already in game usable by NPCs and never had a description why add them now?
Along with if that's the description for it, the description isn't like a technical Refference for the programmers to know what it does. That description is more suitably directed for PCs to see.
That's what bring up the pondery of is it going to be one a PC can use?

I see this as level 74 or level 75 magic bursts for SMN. But who knows, they could implement them for both BLM & SMN, since our Avatars are originally suppose to have these abilities.
Sadly, if these spells don't do more or just as much damage as ancient damage, i will be disappointed. I'm tired of dealing 300-700 damage to Very Toughs every minute.

Those are all the FINAL BLOODPACTS that the Prime avatars use! The are AOE and do a ton of damage!
I think SE will finally make them usesable for us, summoners!
Summoners dont get anytihng at level 75, so I am pretty sure they will be levle 70+
But this leads to the following question....
What about Fenrir and Diablos.... i dont recall if they have an aditional BP..... I have done the Prime Avatar battles so so so many times... and i have seen all those blooc pacts.. well.. died.. but i have seen them!
They are finally here!

Well... now that i think of it.... They requeire alot of MP... well... lets see.. will they be burstable? Will they be sillchainable? Will they do more damage than predator claws, chaotic strike etc?
Also.. is it me or at levle 75 astral flow is worthless... i rather do predator claws than aerial blast.... sad but true.

I'm interested in how 'Enrage' works. With a 3 minute recast, it better pull six times as much hate as provoke >_<;.
Also, there's a level 1 Spell called "Moogle's xxx" or something along those lines, and the description says that it increases party movement speed... it's also for BRDs, and appears to be a lesser version of Mazurka... apparantly it was never actually implemented.

In one of the interviews at the fan festival they said there were adding or considering adding a lower level version of Mazurka, so that fits.

Summoner
Would like avatars out longer, so more MP
Other benefits for avatars being out
Changes to duration and power determined purely by summoning skill
Increase the number of blood pacts
New avatars: no plans for bahamut, but others are being looked into
Maybe this is the increased blood pacts

It's possible, SE does like to add things long before actually implamenting them for PCs to use. I.E. the lvl 1 'Zerstorer' Gaxe that isn't in game or the Red Hydra Harness set which was added to the game files back when CoP was first released but never usuable by PCs until the last update.
And the Moogle marzuka or whatever spell is prolly that Brd song for increased movement speed, but I sincerely doubt it will be usuable at lvl 1.

It is Lv1. The spell description says "Enhances resistance against confustion for party members within area of effect."

It may not be the same as provoke, please be aware.
There is a spell in some games, called "Target", i remember it well from suikoden 2 and i know i seen it somewhere else too. In these games, such a thing as "hate" is nonexistant, "Target" only forces the mob to attack whoever cast the spell, for a random ammount of time (time based on skill modifier appliable i suppose, with chr or something).
If enrage would work the same as target, it should not induce any hate, thus the /bad/ thing about the ability, voke gives hate, hate is a solid way to keep a mob from hitting others, if enrage doesnt induce hate, in the period of effect the tank should still grab as much hate as he can, i see enrage as a sort of "cover" for the whole pt, when "cover" wears off, whoever has more hate will take the next hit.
Enrage would still be awesome depending on how long it lasts, i think having it work the same as provoke is lame though.

It could act like voke does in Ballista
It's fun to use but annoying to get hit by >_>
