New Player help

Ive been trying to get help in-game to no avail, are there filters people use, cause no one really is responding to my questions, Im a lvl 7 thief, and Im curious on what I should be doiing, I know exp is slow, but I need a change of scenery, should I head somewhere else or stay where Im at, also what about gil, when does it start moving in my equip sucks, i need new gear so I need more gil, are there quests I should run for this. Thanks for a respond

what city are you in? most cities have NPC that sell equipment/spells for a fairly cheap price for level 1 to around 15. look around the town and check out the maps, it will have store names and icon.

for early levels make sure you have signet casted on you. the guards of your home city will offer it for free. With it you'll be able to get crystals to drop and they sell for decent price in the auction house.
Also most items you got drop from weak monsters, check the auction house to see their price. some are really good money, you'll be surprised. like bat wings.

Im in san da oria, I think thats the spelling, All the gear I see is expensive, I only have like 600 gil

Like Jei said, get signet and start xp'ing a little bit. The crystals that drop will stack to 12, they can then be sold at the Auction House for quite a bit.
The zinc ores from killing worms sell for a bit, as do beetle jaws (though I don't think those drop very often on low level beeltes)

Ive stacked them and put them on AH and they arent selling, is a stack of earth crystals for 1500 too much??

Check the current price of a stack of Earth Crystals by going to the Auction House and "Bid" section. Then find Earth Crystals and check the "Price History" of a stack of 12 crystals. This should give you an idea of how much to put them up for.

try to kill lots of orcs. fire crystals sell fast at a better price. get signet and mass murder weak orcs in ghelsba
