I was reading the monk guide and came accross some terms and questions that I dont know what they meant.

Perma Group?? Dont know what kind of group this is.

and when subing a job do you lvl as the higher job and let your sub catch up or do you lvl the sub as your main till the desired lvl?? i.e. if I have a lvl 20 monk...do I switch to a lvl 1 war as my main then get him to 10, switch back to the monk then sub the war??

Thanks

the term static group is more commonly used i think. it's a group you form with ppl you know and schedule to always play and level up together. it helps save a lot of trouble finding random groups with unknown players.

only your main job levels. you will have to switch the job to main when you want to level it up. and sub job will cap at half main job.
say you have 20 war, 15mnk, 5whm.
you want to level up mnk, you change it to your main job and you'll be 15mnk/7war.
when you change jobs around you'll be
20war/10mnk
20war/5whm
5whm/2war
for example.

yes.

when you kill a monster, only your main job gains exp. your subjob doesn't get any.
level your subjob ahead of time, so you won't have to worry about it

hint: just take warrior all the way to 37 right away, so you'll never have to think about it again!
