Vivi style Mage AF

Someone asked me to do this one for them but forgot to give me their Email. so I don't mind sharing this one.





mostly just recolored the orginal AF set and moved the collor with met.

haha nice. problem is, I don't think the majority of blm humes would like the kiddish apparel, but I could be wrong. You should gear this more toward the tarutaru race.

didn't fix the collor because taru's head was so big and had clipping issues.

Is it possible so his face turns into that black mass with two yellow dots for eyes (ala classic BLMs, Vivi and Orko from He-Man ;p) ?

Thats always something that annoyed me about BLM in FFXI, characters look that way when you change jobs in tatics and ta, but not in XI... the hat should have that built in.

only way to accomplish that would be to modify either that hat or the coat to an extreme degree. that or actually modify the face of the pc in question. i have tried it in the past. and got as close as i thought i could, but i can't seem to find the .dat of my attempt.

Tried it but couldnt be seen in public, looks properly vivi-ish if you give yourself fomor head, and could swear i saw a set of vivi-style heads around here somewhere. I'll try to dig em up if I get bored.

I think you can go for a more desaturated and darker tone :) Vivi is not all bright and colorful you know.

is there any chance you could do the cool collar thing with normal blm AF on hume female?

maybe close it up in the middle too, with no color change or anything on it

He is bright when i played him on the psx and the pics i got of him. he has a bright blue shirt and limish green and white striped pants. If you want , be my guest and edit the dat the colors you wish.

I like it, the person i did it for liked it, but be my Guest and edit to the colors you want.

found the dat of the hat, but couldn't find the face, so i messed with a fomor head. i also forgot to change the color of the band around the hat when i made it, so i just colored it in photoshop after i took a picture of it.

Someone somewhere once mentioned they wanted a Vivi head. I think it was over on the FFXI Mod Community. Anyway, I eventually made it but forgot where exactly it was requested and never bothered putting it anywhere. This thread reminded me of it and it seems like a fitting place to put it.

Only the head was modified, probly took around 20-30 minutes. Its just a hat. If you equip it, it will hide your normal tarutaru head and display that one. It looks a little to wide to me. If it bothers you, you can resize it =P

If you're referring to the hat featured above, it's a piece of Black Mage AF, meaning you can get it by completing your AF quests. If you mean the particular Vivi-style hats above, then you do that by switching the .dat files, which someone else can explain.
