Even though I love Aerith, that looked horrible.
I can't exactly put my finger on what needs to be fixed though. I'm looking forward to future pictures to see the improvement.

I hope you can succeed and make it come out to be a true masterpiece, it’d be pretty neat!
The shoulder parts need to be smoothened out (badly) and the skirt should be facing like this / \ ...but I'm sure you already know. The jacket is also too inner, her shirt showed pretty clearly in the game and in FF7AC. One more thing, the collar part needs to be a bit more… downish?
Keep up the good work!

looks decent, i think its a little too pink though, she looks like a bubblegum princess >.> i would try a paler shade of pink, off the top of my head i cant actually picture aeris, but i seem to remember the jacket was closer to red, and the skirt was like a pastel pink colour.

her jacket is sopposed to be shorter. it doesn't come all the way down to her waist in the game.
how did you manage to get a skirt like that on a pc model?

Definatly needs quite a bit of tweaking done to it, as it is right now the jacket with the skirt is kind of giving her a heafty look.

Gave her jacket short sleeves like she had in the game. It looks alot better in the model viewer and in the game than it does in the pic..... The person that requested said that is fine. and now i can either keep working on it or give up it now.

It does look better now.
I'd suggest you add more details to the dress though, like buttons and the ehm, you know, line that comes with buttons XD
Also, I think the lower part of the dress should also have an opening.

Jacket on the Model needs to be raised more on the bottom, as you notice in the picture of Areith her jacket basically ends were the bottom most of her breasts would be. That helps to keep the stomach and hips exposed to keep the feminine apperance, the jacket in the mod is just to long it meets up with the hips and removes that feminine allure.

I finished this couple of days ago. added pocket details, frills, added buttons fixed her shape, and got rid of jaggies, and gave it to the person that requested it from me. I just didn't put up a pic of the finished model is because I am not giving to the public no more, i changed my mind about any Final fantasy remakes.
I am no longer releaseing final fantasy recreations to the public, i can't keep it up to standards, and things like . hey here is a picture. just agitates me. and the constant negative comments. I will only take requests for the few people that are not critics and rush me to get them done. I never said i was good nor did i say i would make them for the public, i already tried that. people that did like it would just download them and not say thank you or a good job, the only comments i get is usally bad ones. Like i said in another post. how many critics here can make them selfs or at least try ? hate me if you want. pick me apart , i don't care. the few that i like and will do requests have shown me some respect and courtes
I will make new dats and post them. but they won't be any of the Final fantasy chracters, sorry. The person i did this one for also asked me for tifa and and a Rinoa, which i am doing slowly.
when i post a pic of my progress, i even say its not done, has alot of work to do on it. I am just letting people know how far it has gone. yet i get people posting pics telling me how this and that looks, Trust me, I have played the game and got my picture that work off of.
if anyone wants this dat. i suggest they take all the advise you gave me and make one them selfs.

I'm sad to hear that you can't handle suggestions.
You post something, we tell you our impressions from what you post and what we would think would make it look better.
I mean, what actually were you looking for with posting a "I'm working on this dat, this is how far I've come". We can't post "wow, we like it", because it isn't finished. Supposedly we can't post suggestions because you already know everything and think they are insulting. I guess what you want us to post is "I hope it will look great, send me dats now!"?
I'm not trying to sound rude here, but you seem to be a little upset for no real reason. And if you think posting original dats will prevent people from suggesting things, then I guess you should just leave the community already. People will always suggest things. You would be better off if you learnt to accept suggestions, instead of viewing them as some kind of "Duh, you are so stupid you forget her pocket".
Like i said in another post. how many critics here can make them selfs or at least try ?
If you need to be a dat editor to critsize, wouldn't you need to be a dat editor to praise dats too?
Anyway, positive responses to a dat is limited, while suggestions/complaints are endless. You can only say "I like it" in that many ways, while you can say "too short, too fat, too slow" etc. Don't expect a lot of written praise for your work, but take pleasure in knowing that a released dat may be treasured and used by thousands of users.
It hurts a little to see people not releasing dats though, for one single reason. Each time someone makes the "same" dat, time could have been spent on making a different one instead or recreating something already done once. If all dats were released, and people didn't bother to cry about others modding those, we could potentially have twice as many dats to play with.
Lastly I'd want to say it is sad you didn't upload the finished IMAGE of your work. Would be interesting to see the finished work. But maybe you are afraid we'd suggest something could have been done different?
I hope you keep on doing dats, the community always need more of them. I can't help but feel like most of your comments were adressed to me (posting image, saying it looks horrible), and I assure you that I didn't mean any harm with my posts. Maybe it would just be best if you finished your dats first next time, since it seems like you only got angry when I tried to help out.
PS
if anyone wants this dat. i suggest they take all the advise you gave me and make one them selfs.
Make a few tutorials for the totally ungifted and I'll give it a try.

Sorry to hear your 180 on your original decision, but the criticism good or bad you pratically asked for it. Sure hope my suggestions were not the ones to annoy you :worry:
Completly ment them to help, it's the same way my data and art is picked apart when I do it. You either suck it up and improve your skill or flail out angrily and go down in a blaze of fury. I prefer the first option, and it's proven to me to work just fine.
