Plenty of flashlight batteries and hallucinegenic mushrooms. If you meant the computer aspect of it, just repeatedly push the power button in and out on your computer and the .dats will mod themselves...all you have to do is wait for the Blue "confirmation" screen... or the black one with the blinking cursor. Keep pressing! Don't stop even when you get tired, cuz pushing buttons is easier than reading! Everyone knows THAT!

unless some kind soul is willing to type out the entire, complicated process here, you are better off reading through the various posts on this forum or in Kilandor's site. The information is there, you just have to do some homework and look for it.

and PotentPotables, please curb the "bite" from your posts. as annoying as these repetitive questions (most of which have been asked and answered hundred times over) are, there is no need to be mean about it. :)

You'll need to get ahold of the Model Viewer software which is linked elsewhere in the forum. The Model Viewer can export supported DAT file information and reimport it. You can use Metasequoia or VRS to handle the exported data, or you can edit the texture as a bitmap and use Graphic Converter 3 to reimport the bitmapped texture into .dds for the Model Viewer to reimport.

Sorry, this will be rude but. Maybe you should attempt to actually look at the stickies. And make atleast a slight effort to use the search button?

1) Sticky: .Dat Links

2) Skip the first post on the thread.

3) You can pick up Modelviewer and Graphics Converter 3 Links at Phabins.

4) Kilandor's Site has link to Metasequoia and VRS, but you have to sign up on forums first.
