New to Fairy and FFXI

Hello! just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I'm new to the game. I'm coming off of about a year in WoW, which was fun while it lasted. But I've been reading a lot on these forums and am very intrigued. I've been looking for a game with lots of depth, and from what I've read here I think I've found it.

I can't decide whether to be a thf/nin or whm/bhm, but I guess the cool part is I can try all different types of jobs without having to reroll. I started as a bhm.

It sounds like its a lot harder to get into groups and linkshells, but I guess at my beginner level I really shouldn't be too worried about that yet.

Anyway, hope to see others in-game! :)

Welcome to fairy! Im new to fairy to, but i can help you with missions 1-1 to 1-3 if you want, just /tell pearlsea ingame.

And i recomend you get blm to 30 first because you need a job at 30 to unlock ninja.

Welcome to Vana'diel 1st, and welcome to the Fairy Server 2nd. Hope you enjoy your stay in both ways. I can also help in some areas, send a /tell to Dantai if I'm on.

You should start out leveling Warrior until you reach level 18, and then head up with THF so you can farm at lvl 20 or so-that way you can get your spells for BLM and WHM or equipment for THF/NIN or the likes thereof.
