to run a ventrillo/teamspeak server for "all" of Hades would require more resources than it would be worth. Besides, not everyone has the ability/capability to use vent/ts, because they 1) play on PC, and dont have a second, 2) play on a PC that can't support mutiple "resource hogs", or 3) play on ps2 and dont have a PC "close enough" to make use of.
Personal server go the best route. Controlled number of users make the vent/ts servers cheaper, faster, and more fun (because you control users, and dont end up full of trolls).

Well, it would be quite difficult to create a voice chat for *all* of Hades. Easiest way, would be to join a Linkshell that has it. Or create one of your own for an LS or your friends. I use Teamspeak and I find it enjoyable ^_^

Couldn't you just...*gasp* Type what you want to say?
I don't see how hearing people talk would make the game more fun.
That might just be me, though.

Well it's sometimes easier for people to orally talk with other players, you are able to identify their tone of voice that way. I know for a fact that it can be difficult to identify if the player is being sarcastic or if they are being serious. It's also more realistic too.. Some people are just slow typers, so it would be easier in that sense also. It wouldn't hurt to try would it? :)

While it might not hurt to try it...
Some of us play on our glorious 360...
Making it impossible...
Which doesn't make sense...assuming the 360 has voice for every OTHER online game...
