I been playing for a while, but being Rank 10 I want to switch nations to work on more missions once I reach my goal of all jobs to 40 (Rank 10 DOES help get invites, so I'm gonna keep it until then). Do you lose all you conquest points when you swap nations? If so, do you get the points back if you change back?

So that means basically you can do all 10 missions for each nation, am i right?

Yes, you can do that.
I have another question. How are outpost teleports treated when changing nations? I have almost all of them completed for windurst. Do I lose them all? And if so,can I get them back when I change back to Windurst?

it used to be you lost them completely, but i believe a recent patched addressed that. so, you loose them in new nation, but have them again when you switch back. i think ^^;

Can anyone confirm this? Would be really nice to know. No way I'm ever switching nations if I have to do all those over, but I might consider it if I can go back.

Do you have to empty your storage to change nations or does everything just change with you?

StarvingArtist are you 100% certain on those fees to change nations?
Because as I recall, when I moved from Bastok (3rd place at the time) to San dOria (1st place at the time), the S.O.B. charged me 40k to switch nations.
I remember it was 40k because shortly there after, I proclaimed in a loud voice to my girlfriend, "Holy sh;t! This S.O.B. is charging me 40k to switch nations!"

Been a looong time since I switched nations to complete all the missions (see my sig), but I think it's something like (these are guesses based on what I saw when switching nations 3 times):
3rd to 1st is ~40K
3rd to 2nd is ~20K
2nd to 1st is ~16K
2nd to 3rd is ~8K
1st to 2nd is ~10K
1st to 3rd is something really low, like ~4K

Looks like the OP must've changed nations by now, but the question is still relevant. ^^
When I changed one of my mules from Sandy to Windy, Windy was in 3rd place and I had to pay 4000 gil. This was...hmm...last year some time, August 2005 maybe. I don't remember whether Sandy was in 1st place at the time. My mule had items in Mog Safe, Furniture arranged, and items in Storage. The Moogle moved everything to Windy in good condition.
I haven't changed the nation back yet so I can't confirm whether the Conquest Points for Sandy remain (yep, my mule was out fighting a little). But several reports I have seen have confirmed - CP and Rank remains, but you have to do all your Outpost Supply Quests over.
