If you are lv. 10 or so you should be capable of making it back to one of the 3 nations as long as you are careful were you go.

Hell if you are good at walking carefully you could make it to most of the normal map areas just fine, even get to Jeuno at lv. 1.

You could get to Jeuno at lv. 1 if you are careful. At lv. 2 I wouldn't worry about deaths you don't loose EXP until you are lv. 4...

Yes, lv. 1 - 4 is great for testing aggro ranges so you get an idea how close you can get to a mob before getting aggro. I practiced on gobs with it, I could walk up right behind them without getting aggro, worked perfect when I got stuck in the Yoahtar Jungles and had to maneuver past gobs.

Even in the tunnel areas, the gobs only turn to one side so if you are able to do it right you can walk right past gobs without getting aggro.

Getting through Valkurm or Buburimu Penisula is super, super easy to do without aggro. The only real threat in both areas happen to goblins, and they only aggro sight. They're also widely spaced out in both cases, so all you have to do is either walk past one from behind or simply stay far away from them.

At night, there's undead as well. They're pretty few and far between, so it's easy to keep your distance. Just don't try it with your HP in the yellow or lower or their aggro range will increase.

Yeah, it's surprisingly easy to avoid agro to get to any of the 4 main cities. Most things that agro in those areas are gobs and local beastmen. The local beastmen are usually few and far between, and gobs are extremely easy to avoid. I suggest going to Bastok if you're in selbina, as I think that's the easiest way to go.
