woodworking porfits???

i know that power bows can be a good porfit on many severs, <mine they sell for 32k to 40k, only if wool cloth is going cheap 90-120k>just wondering if any other crafters know something that can be made with 30 woodworking on there sever to make money

If you're 30, then you can pretty cheaply get to 50, or near 50. Then I'd start hq'ing bolts like aegina said (acids are on the up and up on Fairy, as are bloodies). Get 10k guild points and get the lumberjack key item. Then get some bundling twine, wind crystals and some cheap logs. Arrowwood works well, as do ash logs if you have airship pass for the terminal in Sandy. Craft a wind crystal, bundling twine, and 3 logs together for a nq craft of 3 lumber and a hq of 6-12. Profit isnt absolutely amazing, but it can be done for pretty cheap and makes good, easy money over time.

ok cool thxs a ton, i was wondering about lumber jack thxs for explaining on how it works, also you think i can get a decent HQ rate on bolts, i can make acid and sleep cheap if the bolts are aviable on ah well i continue to lvl bone for bows <almost there lol 5 now 3 more lvs to go then hopefully money.... for now

some arrows actually sell for a nice profit, sleep/poison arrows on my server are selling for about 9k per stack in jeuno. I made a profit skilling up on these on both my main, and then my mule (lvling it over on a mule so i can max it without interfering with my mains crafts)

ASH LUMBER!!!!

Get some wind crystals, which are cheap now, and head into carpenters landing. Go on Darks Day for more HQ. Crank out as many stacks as you can carry. Go to Jeuno and sell on ah. I was able to make 250K in about 3~4 hours. My investment was about 5K not bad right?

I'm struggling with gil at them moment I might try the Ash Lumber way of getting quick gil, it's quite amusing how cheap they are to craft but some crafters are too lazy to do it so shell out loadsa gil on AH. Hmm i guess some people can afford to do that though :p

heh, i do buy lots of ash lumber from the AH, because i am lazy >_> and when you're higher, and can HQ bolts like no other, you can make back that 3-6k stack of ash lumber in a few minutes O.o
i reccomend doing bolts that you think people use fast, like sleep bolts, bloody bolts, *maybe* shihei, and holy bolts. sleep and bloody go for about 10k on my server, and holies, about 4-7k <_< hope this helps

hey hey.. 3months later got lv62 the other day.

has anyone noticed how much profit Darksteel Bolts make or is it just my server?

ok so they don't sell quick but i just made 8 stacks of 12 quivers of these for my skill ups, spent roughly 650k to make.. and when all sell I will get 1.44million return o.o knowing my luck some other crafter will come along and deflate but its been a pretty stable price as of late..

It's a shame cos the next synth is Demon arrows and in that you put in 900k (5 stacks of 12 quivers) and get a return of 1million.

With one stack of 99 bolt heads, at tier 1 HQ rate, I get nearly 3 full stacks of quivers. Usually two of the stacks breaks me even, and the others are profit.
Usually the same for demon arrows, but sometimes price fluctuations and AH flooding make the arrows cheaper to buy, than to make yourself.
Just watch the prices. They can all be profitable, just have to play it smart. (oh and if you have a crafter friend to make you bolt and arrowheads, exploit them :P)

On Asura bolts were going well until some blacksmiths started working on selling their bolts - I was skilling on dark steel at the time), undercut some prices by 50%, so that you can't even attempt to break even.
