A DAT Transferrence Request.

Hey... I'm going to continue on with making more of my .DATs again...

However, I'm going to need some help. I'd like someone to take the Verena NPC (You know,
Aldo's Sister in Jeuno?) and pretty much "Chop off" her body and make it be able to use
on Hume Female.

The dress and everything.

(I have plans.) for that dress.

In case you don't know what it looks like... here it is.

I included the .DAT too.

i finished it, it worked really well and everything. except my pc froze and for some reason the entire file thingy got corrupt, so ill have to start all over again ;_;. it will take less time this time though, since ill know which parts to bind to which skeletons. Sorry its going to take longer >.<:vent:

I could try Perih's head ^^ Im thinking the main reason the shins and wrists are gone when you use it is cuz of her legs and body gear, which is long sleeved and pants. >_>;

I finished the body, but its still sorta flawed... some of the parts on her dress somehow got deleted, and others I jus didnt want to deal with, so I stole them from the wedding dress, (e.i. the puffy shoulders, hands, and a part of her arm). it looks pretty good, except I need to fix up the seams from combing the wedding dress and verena's

the things in the red circles are what I stole from the wedding dress. its still needs minor tuning up, and I need to fix up the skeleton binding stuff in VRS, but its almost ready. As for the rest of the dress, Im going to attatch that to a leg gear, so the legs wont show through the dress (ill be deleting them).

Could you explain how you were able to do that? o.O I'd like to try and get the Elvaan princess' dress, see if I can mess around with that XD

I started school again on monday and havent been able to fix the hole yet, and the elvaan princess dress is my next project XD but this weekend is 3 day weekend (durhh), so I will defnately finish it then..
I did it by combining the `Verena Dress with the opaline dress, then I bound all of verena's dress to the same skeleton point. Next, I exported it into metasequioa, and modded Verena's to match the opaline in Proportion. (Very important). Next, I put it BACK into VRS and bound each of verena's parts to the corresponding Opalin part's skeleton. After, I deleted the opaline dress. Then export into game. Muahahahahahaha?

I May or may not make it multi races. I know for a fact Ill make one for mithra.. not sure about Elf F.. I never liked them.... pffffff...... <_< o yea, but I might not make it for mithra since it doesnt suit them... it reminds me too much of Pocohontis 2 where she dressed up all in a dress and paled her skin and such...

I didnt say mithra only - I said I /wouldnt/ be making one for mithra. :P <_< oh and it doesnt really.. work. I dont see why it shouldnt though. It looks normal in modelviewer, but in game the texture stuff is all weird. The actual model is great, but the paint on it is.. messed up. Aye. The reason why I wanted to port it was because I intended to reskin it for Hume Female. I just wasn't terribly sure how to go about doing it. But if you manage to successfully port it for Hume Female, Mithra, and / or Elvaan Female, that'd be quite nice.

I'm on a friend's PC at the moment, so I'm not home, sad to say.

hmm I think I /may/ know why it isnt working. The thing is this: I may have deleted the points I dont want on the dress BEFORE combining it with the model that is to be worn in game. which means it MAY be that since it was deletedbefore combined, it doesnt know where to put the alpha map? More info on this later. Im not so sure I want to continue with this specific dress, because as of now I hate Verena. BUT Ill be working on different ones >_>. Sorry I couldnt fulfill your request. ;_;
