I have had FFXI for over 2 years now, and i live in UK. I imported the game from US, and have done so with the expansion pack aswell. The other day i was re-installing FFXI Chains of Promathia, and CD1 shattered into a hundred pieces ; ;.
What i need to know is where can i import this expansion pack from?
I have tried Newageconsoles, and they are out of stock, and i dont trust importmadness, they took 2 weeks to send the first FFXI game to me.
I do not want to pay a fortune just to replace CD1.
Hope someone can help me :), Thank you.

You should be able to order the expansion pack online.

assuming that u r talking about the pc version...
it will be a lot easier to find a reliable export store w/ Vana’diel Collection (the all-in-one pack) than finding one for the expansion pack only. the price difference between those 2 is about US$10 (slightly less than 6 GBP?), so considering that u can give/sell the registration codes, it might prove to be the better way.
also, while i'm not familiar w/ the UK's copyright law, it shouldn't be a problem if u just copy the cd, provided u can find a friend/family member who has the same thing. while ppl might argue "no talks about illegal copies here," personally i don't see a problem as u already own the legal right to use the software, so it's not really illegal. not to mention the ffxi cd's don't have any copy protection or access control features, so u won't have to circumvent anything.
btw, u could install the EU version and just play w/ ur current ID & pass for now, but as u won't be able to install and register the additional NA expansions on top of it, i guess that's out of the question since the next expansion is supposed to be coming soon.

You probably won't be able to get the expansion pack on its own anymore. I know when one of my friends ordered it from dvdboxoffice they didn't have any. I think he ordered it from importmaddness in the end and they sent the DVD Vana'diel collection instead.
