Please answer these questions for me if you can ^^; :
1. Where can I find the .dat file for the actual chocobo, displayed during riding a chocobo?

2. Where is the .dat file for my Mog House, and what are good zones to use instead as Mog House, including the .dat locations please.

3. How do I open .dat files in both Photoshop and VRS?

I tried looking for the answers to these questions in the forum, but Search didn't help me out much. :(

Thanks a lot ^^. I'd still like info about the others. And yes, I actually even posted myself on those threads! But I just can't find them anymore with Search. :(

Edit: Look at the last post in the thread you gave me.. I posted that question there a while ago, but still no answer :(. Can no one answer this??

3. How do I open .dat files in both Photoshop and VRS?

Technically, you can't open .dats with any other program but FFXI. However, you can open portions of .dats with Photoshop using the following method :

1> Find model you want in Model Viewer and export it. This will break that file down into 4 pieces.
2> Open folder and open the .bmp file with Photoshop. Edit to your hearts content and save.
3> Using graphics Converter, change it to the .DDS file format listed within the GC3 Help.
4> Import back into Model Viewer.

You can open .dats with VRS using one of two methods :

1> Going through my process I listed on Kil's site under tutorials for VRS.
2> Using the automatic armor loading system [JP Reading Required]
