I haven't been online in ... oh ... 3 weeks now? I decided to finish Xenosaga Ep. II and then got sucked back into that world. Then, I replayed Xenosaga Ep. I just to see the story (And tie some loose ends) and I'm playing Ep. II again - mostly to get EVERYTHING in the game ... sigh. I am almost done with FFX-2 (I haven't played it since I purchased it over a year ago) I ended up cancelling my WOW account as well, seeing I haven't even logged in there for over 3 months ... waste of money.

I did get an EVE Online client ... debating on whether or not I should start an account. lolorz. If I do quit FFXI, I'll go give you all my 300+ mil in phat lewt :p

To be honest, I'd have to say Ep 2 took a nose dive in the wrong direction. It's no surprise, really. The wife of the producer (Takahashi), who was pretty much the driving force behind the story, quit Monolith. I believe the producer has also stated he would leave after Ep 3, but I think he quit somewhere during the development, meaning Ep 3 might be a craptastic affair with heavy handed molding from Namco's very own RPG team (The guys that's probably responsible for the Tales series) which may or may not be a good thing ...

Monolith has already said the Xenosaga series dies with Ep 3 ... so really, the story will probably end prematurely and you'll either have classic cheese "nice ending" or one of those off the wall, "I don't know how to end this" Evangelion kind of endings ...

Anyway, I only played for the story. Ironically, the cell phone Xenosaga game got rave reviews for gameplay and had a better story line (Ziggy's past, when he wasn't a cyborg, probably 100 years before the current storyline) I mean, if they're going to do it right, then they should've taken the success of that cell phone game and translated that over to Ep 3 development ...

The reason the producer left was the same reason he left Square Enix (Then called Squaresoft) Monolith was a game studio, yes, but let's not beat around the bush and pretend that they are anything without Xeno-series. Because, really, they can't survive worth a damn without it ...

I believe the original was still the best. While the producer may have felt the story did not come out as much as he had wanted it, you can't deny the fact that SE's influence in the gameplay department totally made the story playable as much as it was enjoyable to follow ...

to be honest i would say unless your into the story of it dont bother xD the game just seemed like a long movie to me, u have about 4 fights then a movie... then as you got a bit further it was like 15 fights then a movie.... not really my type of game :P but if u like the whole turned based mixed with extremly long movies :P i'd say go for it lol

Oh! and the dvd that came with it, wow it went for like 5 hours xD

I like the 360 version, except for loosing all my macro sets:worry:.
Playing on 27"LCD HDTV. Looks so much better then my PC and PS2. I have to jack the bightness up in a few areas, but the graphics are beautiful. Also the ability to use a headset in game to talk to up to 4 friends is pretty cool. Wish they could make it so could talk to whole party to eliminate Vent. Also 360 carry bag, Plug-nPlay wireless control, set of s-/av cable, and wireless nework adapter = more portable then any other system I have. Gotta love it.:)
