You're going to have a hard time getting someone to give up something so expensive. I'm sure you're trustworthy, but a lot of people have been screwed over before b/c they let someone borrow a nice piece of gear and they never saw it again. Honestly, you'd probably have better luck talking to friends or people in your ls. Not only that, but if you've already made it to 32 w/o one, would having one for the last 4 lvl's of your leveling really help that much? It's only 25mp. At this level its hardly a make or break item. GL with whatever you decide though.

4 more levels and you can use the much more inexpensive electrum rings which are 5 less mp than an astral but much much cheaper.

hold out, 4 levels isn't going to kill you.

Agreed. You really don't need it. Moreover, if you're a taru or mithra, astral rings are pretty much redundant, considering you already have enough mp to begin with.

Hold out for 4 lvls and get Electrums. much better. or eat a Rolanberry pie for 50MP if you are so inclined

forget about the rings. you don't need more max mp, what you need are cookies!

...not a joke. cookies help you recover mp faster. they're found under ah > sweets. you can also buy them from npc's. ginger cookies are very good for white mages :)

I think the starter of this thread is still level 32. :P It's kinda overdone how a beginner (to not say the bad word) begs for something and everyone replies on what is best to do.. What you notice on all "young" adventurers is that they put pricy, well-known and shiny gear on top of the list, instead of actually leveling.

He knows he should use Electrum Rings.. but Astral Ring look more important then just getting a couple levels till Electrum ring becomes available. I recently leveled my Samurai in Yuhtunga Jungle, with this taru having 2 Astral Rings and some other MP+ gear, that he said he got from friends(which makes it so ironic), he died to Bomb Toss in our party 6 times, with just a few HP more then this own.
