I posted a pic of this in my first thread but.. Ive decided that this needs its own, as i will be constantly updating this one...it started out as just a recolor...and ..ive managed to add real fur, which at first i did not know you can do ...so...i will be adding a more realistic type of gear now ..heres the old one , and 2 pics of the new one ill add a front and back pic but i have a semi sideshot that looks good as well because it doesnt have the shine of the lighting.
as always comments and suggestions always welcome. Hope this suits beastmasters :)

----------------EDIT 12-31-05--------------------------
I have redone the harness with a few of the suggestions I have received...
I have decided to make the bone shoulderpads, however they are not like the weskit style because VRS hates me...but.. regardless, they do function well and still look fitting IMO. (the bones are from a skeleton and originally I had them look just like the weskit ones but... they move like the shoulderpad does so..I just added bones around the outside as well, for version 3. heres the new Pics.

P.S. I have left one pic from version 1 and one from V2 Just as a comparison.

-----------EDIT 5-4-06-------------

just figured Id throw the .dat file up here for those interested

Just throwing out some ideas:

How about replace those shoulders for gaudy/dragon and add the string of fangs from the iggira weskit on top of each shoulder cover. Also try one with the fangs on the upper arm instead (or both if you really like looking spikey).

I like the purple gems but they kinda look out of place with the whole nature/tribal/animal theme. Maybe colored the hip plates and belt pieces in white bone/ivory color like the shoulder pads.

As for fur... that's pink fur you have in those pics right? Maybe try raptor skin. Drop the black leather under the arms (show some biceps).

Don't have to take all the ideas, just think about them for a bit.

I like those ideas :) i wish i knew how to actually ADD things (via VRS) but... ive had no luck at all with that program lol...although..i cant say ive spent a lot of time with it so ..maybe once i toy around with it .. I just hear horror stories about losing stuff if you mess it up, etc so.. im shy when it comes to VRS..also.. pink fur? ouch ..hope it doesnt really look pink lol...

ive been trying to make it slightly brown but more tan looking, its a touchy color because the actual color i wanted ..blends in with the skin color making it look wrong so.. i settled for that color(I am looking to get the colors as close to the original AF as possible because I will be using my AF with my harness as AF is pretty nice for bst IMO). Also as with the arms I only know how to skin so far so ..i cant make the underneath bare . (also yeah lol i agree the gems look out of place ..

i will actually be using a completely different colored base for the new version seeing as how im not the only one to notice it) As for the ivory or white bone colors, now that i can pull skins from mobs and add them to the armor...Most likely I will be adding that style to it. If i could change models instead of just skin, id add the front and back flaps like the Af instead of the side flaps as well as adding those spikes from the weskit.

Thanks for the feedback i will be looking into how to add a few of them and playing with VRS or maybe how to do it without VRS (people used to do it before VRS so ..im sure theres a way)

I was never the scorpion harness fan so I'm just going to say it looks good ;P. Keep up with what you're doing. I really don't have feedback for this since I have never liked scorpion harness and the fact I was never a beastmaster :P.

Very Nice

No earthy idea if this helps. Found a pic where someone put those weskit spikes on a mithra's wedding gloves and colored it black. In the Shadow Queen folder under normal>mithra.
For the muscular arms, probably reskin using bronze/brass harness segments and recolor if it doesn't fit in.
