No one is real sure what they are right now... they are in the expansion. But someone was saying that they are probably involved with the quest to get the summon Ramuh

I can tell you that one of them is wearing Dark Knight AF in the back, one that looks like a Galka. All those cutscenes, I have a feeling has something to do with M13 when the expansion is released. The story is gonna get real exciting :)

The second pic is rahuma (cant remeber how to sp). If you go to the official ffxi exspansion site they have that pic w/ all the other summons and one of him calling down lightning.

He/She/It that we saw is probably like the leader of the (undead?) white guys. but yeah, definately an expansion thing I'd say. Or to get ur final quest on summoner/DragonKnight/Ninja/Samurai, or whatever all the new classes are.

They are probably semi-bosses for these new expansion quests. Those r my thoughts.

I think its not really a female Elvaan but a Mithra right there, you can see her ears are not really elvish, maybe I'm mistaken. Anybody can confirm?

But it seems the most logical thing since the 5 races are represented (Hume on the low-right, Galka on the top-right, Tarutaru just below the Galka, Elvaan on the low-left and Mithra on the top-left)

Edit: I checked back the picture and you can see she has a tail also, so now I'm certain its a Mithra
