Linkshell

Hi, I've recently got back into the game after about a year long break. Now I have found myself in a hole, I don't have a linkshell which seems vital to success in FFXI. The whole time I was playing I was just in a linkshell that a friend made so I am not sure at all an acceptable way to search for a linkshell. Any tips would be very much appreciated!

All the linkshells I've acquired in the 3 months I've been playing have been offered to me while partying, or waiting for a party or just farming... :rolleyes: If you want to actively search for one you can always shout it in a town, or when you "check" or examine people notice wether their Linkshells is a pearl or a sack. If it's a sack it means they are pearl sack holders and can invite you in, so you can ask them to join.

But I really would suggest to wait until someone invites you, it shows that they like you, get along with you and thinks you'd be a good fit in their LS. When in a party I would also ask if anyone is recruiting for their LS, sometimes people, like me, forget they are.. lol
