Why is it soooo empty?

:worry: I have been noticing that Hades has gotten more emptier, well I mean, lots of people are leaving this game and it's gotten more quieter and the forums are quiet over here. I also have been seeing a lot of players getting nasty with each other... :( I hope a good change comes soon, I wish my linkshells will stop transfering and then die after. I wish I would be able to talk to more people... :huh: Anyone notice this? Or is it just me....

The "Streets?" No, it's more like a psychological ward of the state, the one where they have lack of security, inmates that are put into solitary confinement but require professional care and where most everyone has been written off by society as "psychologically unstable and unfit to care for themselves in a healthy and meaningful manner."

Yeah... I just returned to this game after a year and a half break. Is this the least populous server, or is it just way less people overall?
I'm quite dissappointed. I was stoked about the new expansion and wanted to play again, but now I can't even level my new character.
Do you think they could combine servers somehow? or offer passes where you keep a character. I feel like I can't even play this game anymore. But maybe that would prove that they're losing numbers. (i'm not sure if the numbers are actually decreasing... are they?)

No, it's not we are least populated, it's just not many of us have a pc and go on FFXI sites cuz a lot of my friends have a PS2 and they tell me that they do have a computer but they don't have internet installed or they don't have a computer at all.....

You need to understand the history of Hades before you can actually know what's going on.

To make a titanic epic about as short as a classified ad entry, I will say this. Majority of Hades players were originally from another server. Hades and Remora are both the youngest servers of all the servers. Generally, the "aged" players don't troll the forums as much as they used to. The lot of them came to server with drama boring holes into their shoulder blades, so guess where they are now if they're trolling forums?

I'm going to make an educated guess and blame the holidays for the lack of players. I'd bet on a rise in the amount of people online after the holidays.

same here, though i did stop playing for a bit, stilll though during the night time on the alexander server it's usually empty as usual.

NA players are only now hitting CoP missions hard.
New Dynamis zones to occupy NA players.
Like I said before, many "Vets" of this game have already quit, since migrating here (during the first immigration) I personally knew about 15 players who migrated from the same server and quit within 8 months of that migration.
New players are usually found in the "old" server worlds, mostly because they have friends there who'd start them up with some financing and pleveling for them. New servers do not have many players with three+ level 75 jobs and tons of new friends coming into the game.
Anyway, if you're very concerned about the population, then before you've gone too far in, you should try getting a WPS into the older servers. They tend to usually have many players and their population is just brimming. Ironically, the new servers were suppose to have this, especially after two immigrations within several months of each other, but apparently this server (and Remora) seems to do well in getting rid of players, not getting more new players.

Heya i quit Star Wars Galaxies with the NGE and have tried and tested eve, ryzom, anarchy online, guildwars, wow, irth, dnl and some others, but it is only now that i stumbled upon FFIX i found a game i wanna play alot. They should really make some more advertisement and maybe give free trials right now to capture some folks from SWG.

Anyways im playing on hades and im very lonely ;)

Some people on Hades are very weird lol... I have been seeing more people since Holidays began but now it's like dead since they stopped. I also have been noticing more grumpy people too :P

I don't play on Hades, so i don't know how things are there but the server i do play on has a decent amount of players so if your not too far along you might wish to try to get a World Pass to Midgadsomer(spelling) or Fenrir. I currently play on Midgadsomer but before i had to restart i played on Fenrir and they weren't too bad i still have a friend over there that's almost always logged on.

Valkrum and Kazham are dead anymore. Qufim wasn't bad, but leveling anything other than a Tank or WHM is near impossible before 30 anymore.

i play hades, there are alot of retards, but really that makes lfg more interesting, if ev eryone was nice, then you'd never have anything to occupy your downtime.

^^ but in that same breath, there are alot linkshells that pride themselves on family values and equality. These ls's tend not to do very many events, but there's normally always a friend on hand.

Hmm...
I'm new to FFXI...
But, I have seen lots of people playing.

I'm pretty sure that the recent 360 release will bring at least a few hundred new people to all the servers, though...
It brought me...And a few other people that I know of, too.
