You know what you can do if you're bored- Go to Allakhazan and hear the end-game LS bitch and moan about who's a noob and who's gay, and who had a mom that dropped them off at the local furnace. If that's your idea of entertainment, you're on the wrong board. Gilgamesh is plenty active, it's just that thankfully, none of that crap spreads here.

I suggest getting used to the community here ^^ Unless I see a new post on the Gilgamesh threads, I generally stay out of the Server talk. You'll learn more interacting with ppl from other servers anyway.

No Gilgamesh isnt dead. Most people (at least 50-60 that I saw) post on Allakhazam.com.

Earlier today, Alla announced some kind of transaction that gives Allakhazam ties to IGE.com (I dont know the details, nor do I really want to know the details). A lot of the people over there are pissed off about it, and someone is going around pointing everyone in this direction as the new safe haven. For the next couple of days, expect a large influx of new posters to be coming here, as this may become the next BIG forum that all the FFXI people post on, since they dont want to be supporting IGE.

Im afraid I dont know how this is going to affect the Gilgamesh forums over there yet...no one seems to have mentioned it yet, but Im sure news will spread with time. Its very possible that this Gilgamesh forum will be the new posting home of many players--myself included. Only time will tell. Im gonna ride the waves at Allakhazam for a week or two and see how things settle over there first, before officially coming here.

However, that being said, hiya :) Lots of names here that I recognize. Gonna be interesting posting with a bunch of people that Ive seen, but still dont know. Making new friends again is always fun.

Yeah, whenever "something" happens in Glgamesh, I'm the last one to know, or the last one to care, because it never reaches here. However, I'll give kudos to you new forum goers. Every time I check the site (usually 2-3 hours since it's a weekend) there are at least 150 new posts, which is previously useen by this forum (except for maybe maintenance times.)

It would be very nice to have Gilgamesh more active, but I would definately like to avoid the trolling that went on in Alla. You know, pointless arguments such as those heralded by people whom I am formally aquainted with, so I will not say their names >.>
