You shoulda jumped on it quicker =P Anyways, more on the subject of Blue mage, I hope they didnt screw it up. In my mind a Blue mage learns new moves by being hit with them and then get used on a timer or something like that.

I dont care what this BLU does, I am looking forward to playing it. Will be cool to have a new job runing around. Also gonna be cool to see who hits 75BLU first on each server.

Hehehe. Once I get WHM to 75 (may take a whlie since I am confined to the weekends (_ _) ) I'ma do BLU. It looks like fun.

My thoughts on Brue(Blue mage):

1) Blue mage will probably use a sword and have a moderate ranking in it (possibly higher than RDM, but no guarentees)
2) BLU magic abilities will probably be only for monsters that are non-charmable (like a castable version of Sic). This is most probable as it prevents the highly abusable skills from being used (Condemnation, Great Bleat, Dragon Breath, Radiant Breath, Throat Slash, Water Shot [Sahagin reset hate move], Curse, Blood Sabre, Chaos Blade, Dimensional Death, Fox Fire, Aegis Schism, Dancing Chains, Mow, Snot [Buffalo Bane move], etc.)
3) If Beastmen/Undead/Non-charmables/Dragons/Demon weapon skills are included, chances are only a few of them will be usable.
4) It is highly doubted that Avatar based skills (Grand Fall, Rush, Predator Claws, etc.) will be copyable.
5) BLU will probably be able to wear up to doublets and mainly be around THF type armor, possibly a little heavier

That's all the speculation I can accomplish at this point.

20 searching in garlaige and other 40 searching in crawler nest........... oh yes, hurray for the blue mages!......

I have a hard time even figuring out how they will fit in the game. The major thing I have a problem with is AoE attacks. They'd never be able to level in boyahda...

I'm just glad they are adding something new, although I feel kind of jipped not getting something with CoP, and presumably only 1 new class in the new expansion. I kind if wish they had 1 new class in the last expansion too.

Meh, I'm content with the jobs available as of right now. BLU seems to be just a little more icing on an already iced up cake (lol...BLU, the icing flowers on the rim of the Vana-diel cake XD). I'd prefer SE made the current jobs more versitile and beefed them up with fun things rather than adding new classes, which adds more job roles to an already diverse job population. No doubt BLU will be a refreshing job to play though.
