Custom Reskin Request

For the love of bob.. can someone reskin austere armor/hat into something beautiful? (and or gothy) for tarutaru.. I like the idea of wearing something that looks nice to me but is trampwear to everyone else...

Nicolette, just an idea, it'd be helpfull to post an image of what looks "nice" to you. Artists are what they are, artists. What may look good to them, might not look good to you, and in turn they waste hours upon hours of creating something.

sure except thats still recognizably the smn AF1/2, and id hope a reskin to the black coat of the austere armor wouldnt still be patchwork. no idea how hard it would be to get the ties in the back or buttons in front tho.

Not hard I think - Not sure about making it longer though. That was left to still look like summoner af as that was what I was going for ^^; If I can ever figure out why I cant get things to stay transparent and figure out that modeling program I'll probably redo it again

making it longer is possible but I dont know much about how to do it or id try myself. (I fail at modeling) Will just be rough making the alpha map line up and move correctly.

Ill see if I can find a nice gothy hat to go with it.. or maybe just colorchange the hair to be the same color as the coat? heh first blackhaired taru!

Model idea looks intresting, that dress definatly looks like an intresting one for all female races. The color change to the SMN AF looks pretty good too and usable for both genders.

I tried making something like that (.dat type) however it didn't come out quite as well I thought it would.. >.> actually it's down right horrible.

But I do remember a gothic lolita style dress for Hume Females (and mithras i think) that had one of the little lolita head bands.. um lemme see

Hmmm...I linked from my photobucket account, that's probably why it's not showing up for you. Here's the pic straight from my computer.

My avatar collection is still being worked on. ^^ Right now, I'm putting Ramuh on the back burner until I can figure out what I'm doing with him. (I'm probably going to start over from scratch on him, actually.) For now, I'm working on Leviathan, replacing the pink with a sea green/aqua color and playing around with his scales.

Nice work. I've been reading these forums for awhile now, just never felt like posting. I have tried to create my own .dats, but to no avail. So, I have a request of my own. A mod to the Hachiman set for elvaan males. I like the skin, but green is just no me. If someone could tweak the color scheme for me to black/red/platinum I would appreciate it.

I'd love to turn my Vampire Cloak into Something like Guts Berserker chestpiece with a Black Ripped and rugged Cape.

This given me a great or bad idea on maken a elvaan female mod, Time for me to get to work on that. Beside i get sick of playing with Mithra Hume Male Hume Female Elvaan male lil people and Galka. Please dont ask me why i play with Galka cuz my plan was to make them with long arms with hume body, I still didnt get it to work tho but i be working on it.

I actually am still alive, thought that is debatable at the moment. /em is catching another cold and dragging her heels at the thought of a flu shot. ; ;

Anyway, I think I've finally gotten this skin done. Just need Nicolette's approval.^^ I put in a lot of pretty delicate-looking embroidery, and I'm especially pleased with the back. (I even got to pt with a couple of taru SMN this weekend so I got to see it in game.)

I like the embroidery alot, but the front collar looks odd to me, like paper thin.

That and she should be wearing war boots or something since those look most like knee-high arse kicking raver-goth attire :)

So, I leant my austere armor (I wear YYR) out, and the lendee isnt returning it because its 1.5m now and hed rather steal it and sell it... Sooo. I modded YYR instead =p I'm thinking I'lll just use this mod on my BLM though and try to reskin the hat to match it or find one of the guso lacy headpieces to replace it. Not that I dont completely love my coat and you ama, but I <3 my blue dalmatica YYR. The best parts about this coat IMHO are the delicate embroidery on the upper back and front side panels. Its really superb and youre an amazing artist.

You do know you can now report people to gm's if they borrow your items and do not return them when you ask for them right?

I was pretty sure that GM's were the same on every server.. I.E. cant actually interact with players (move or create items or anything) other than to warn and suspend accounts and such. Supposing I did report this person, the only thing the GM would do is ask the person if they did take it, and if they denied it say {that's too bad.} And really.. Its my fault for loaning it out, not the GM's responsibility to make ppl not be thieves.
