Ok i have foght shiva 5 tiems and still no win and nwo i jsut foound out i had enough fame for titan and i went and fought him no yags i ran outta money >.<
and i started to fight him and i got him donw to like 10% and i had barstonra and protect 1 on and he like did sumthing and killed me instant wat did i do wroung or is it that im a sucky smn and i should hang my smn up for good

I almost killed garuda on DD, just couldnt get off that last SL. . . & I just got Ifrit today *Happy Dance* It's really fun to solo them for me ^^

Don't feel bad. My record with the avatars was crap for about 7 straight. I followed the "steps" and yet something always went wrong. When I finally got my first victory (vs Shiva) the rest just seemed to come easy. If anything, take a break and raise some money and then come back to them after your frustration level has died down.

ya, just before I got Ifrit, I had fought Titan Shiva & Garuda, losing to each, But I figured out the best way from losing, thus allowing me to get Ifrit :thumbsup:

OOOOYEA BOOOOYAAAA i killed titan and shiva titan first and then shiva after titan...titan was like ez i killed him on the 2nd try and titan was like was easiest ever i thought i was about to have a heart attack when i got teh 2nd searing light off and the 3rd one i thought iw as about to die

The mini battles are very hard. If you to have alot of gil and good battle plan in order to win. For party battles you just need good party set up of people 65+ and you got it made. Smn is advance job that really meant for end game play.

With everyone leeching all the avatar primes now a day, I give you credit for still trying. Over all for mini fights you want to increase your defense as much as possible. im not sure on your current strategy so ill give you mine, I think I was like 2/3 over all, can't remember been forever. Items:Boiled/Steamed Crab, 3-4 ethers(2 ethers and a hi works too) 2-5 hi potions(you don't need to use them all. just for safety), and one yagudo drink. This strategy is all about speed, any HP gear you can get is fine, i.e physical earrings and hermit wand is great. Pretty much you run to the turn point, summon carby then swallow a yag drink. Run up to where you can see the boss. Now theres two different ways to do this. 1) Assault THEN astral flow. 2)Astral Flow then assault. Overall, 1 will pull hate and make u take a bit of damage. 2 will not pull hate but astral flow might wear off a bit early. Once avatars assaulted RUN up and stand next to the prime then use searing light, so that the hate switch off doesnt cause a miss. Then run as far near the crystal as you can, resummon, pop an ether, run up to boss and SL again. Then go up to the main part where the boss was in the beginning, rinse and repeat. Should die fast, use Hi pots as needed and ethers if you need carby to stay out.

uhhhh i never stand next to the avatars bc i use astral flow and let carby get alot of hate and use searing light and like i have enough time left to get down use ether and summon carby and then use searing light 2 and run again ether and then searing light and murders them went i fought gurada my yag ran out within a min it was wierd

i alwase stood rite behind carby... so the hate went to me and carby alwase hit them with a full SL.. .and i only got hit once.. or not even..

ehhhhhh carby does a normal 210 dmg with searing light thats normal what being a taru useing a hermits wand and the rest is mp armor is that normal smning skill is level 50 that high enough

The point of standing next to the boss is because if you activate then start running and you ended up pulling hate, carby might miss, at level 20 you have too much emnity and can pull hate off from activating a blood pact easy

Lol i had extra ethers left over from garuda levatin and ramuah so i started to play with weapons in qufim with ramuahs 2hour and i used it twice and i didnt get hit once ur theory is wrong sir
