Maestro Card?

1.Okay guys, I 've got a question. I am going to get my Visa card in September this year, that when I will definetely play FFXI.

At the moment I have a "Maestro card" of my bank. I looked up in the net, that it's somehow a Master Card. So am I able to pay with this card now? Has anyone the same card?

2.Another question: the number of my maestro card is like this
XXXX/XXXXX

The number field for the credit card at the billing site seems to be different. How is it with your cards? How long is the number?

Maestro WILL NOT WORK...

Maestro is an ATM networking system (much like InterLink, STAR, PLUS, and Cirrus) that is owned by MasterCard, but it is not accessible on credit card systems, only at ATMs on the network, which, for Maestro, is just about all of them...
