Do i need to get to the fishing guild before i can lvl up anymore? I read somewhere there was a cap before you complete a test or something.

Im in Sandoria atm so how would i get to the fishing guild?

the cap is lvl 8 u must know do the test in the guild to move on up. Theres a fishing guild in Windurst

every 10 skill, the skill will cap. you need to pass a test from the guild to be able to gain more skill. The guild will ask you for a fish, you trade it in and you pass, very simple. You can do the test when your skill ends with 8. 8, 18, 28, etc.

I am at lvl 8 and did the quest. I can not remember how to get to windy off hand but look at region info and just look then go to map and use those 2 things to navigate yourself to there it is very easy.
