Help on fixing some glitches

I've got 2 glitches in a little change I was playing with and haven't figured out how to fix it, was wondering if anyone could give advice on how to fix it by what method/settings.

I was looking to remake my PLD gear into AA mithra looking w

Er I figured what caused the neck glitch but I cna't seem to find what is causing that large grey area above the chest ;; I've tried saving in several other formats incase that was causing it but it didn't either accept the change or did nothing ;;

Perhaps a transparancy you're missing?

I tried to save it in any of the modes under
S3TC format (S3 Encode Engine)
(resaving image, reopening in GC3 program then inporting)
didn't seem to help ;;
