yes in the POL folder under programs in the start menu, there is a config exe file for FFXI Tetra Master and POL. open the POL config and uncheck the box that says "Run in windowed mode"

I see you picked up the game. Congratulations. You should like it better then WoW. Remember in the last topic you stated. I said to give this game time. Once past level 30, which is a breeze to get to, everything starts unfolding. You should be pleased with it. Good luck again in game.

Ive just got FFXI running, and im now downloading the updates, its taking a VERY long time to download, the estimate is 6 hours... is this normal? :worry:

You're downloading like 300MB+ in patches .... yeah, 6 hours sounds appropriate.
