Hello everyone, received my copy of FFXI PC yesterday, breezed through the registration (thanks to the great work done here on the step-by-steps .. thanks!) and am now in the process of patching the game.
I seem to have just hit a snag though. For the first three hours yesterday I was able to download the patches without any problems. Then all of a sudden, I keep getting d/c'd from the patch process every 45 mins or so.. I'm using dial-up, so at this rate, it'll take forever to finish patching! Lol.. Has anyone else had this problem yet? I don't think the problem is on my side since, as I have said, I was able to patch smoothly for about 3 hours prior to all of the mayhem that followed. Please help, someone, anyone!
