Theory is going around that the Leaping Boots and Emperor's Hairpin, Peacock Charm, etc. have been moved to new Battlefields.

We know for certain that the original monsters now drop Rare/Exclusive versions of those items, but, as far as I know, no one knows for certain whether or not they still drop the originals as well.

My reason for posting is that if they really moved them to BCNMs or KSNMs, it's the best thing that could have happened. Why, you ask?

Let the gilsellers farm all day for their seals, that's why~~~

And let them make an attempt at a solid BCNM every week or so. That's fine and dandy with me. They had domination over Argus and various other NMs - if this trend continues, they'll be forced to spend lots of time farming for seals and being unable to acquire the items at the rate they once did. Peacock Charm, Archer's Ring - the empire crumbles, my friends.

And another thing - let 'em try to bot a BCNM and kiss a thousand XP goodbye. :P To say nothing of the Seals involved. (^o.o)^ ^(o.o^)

Rejoice!

How are legitimate players supposed to make money now?

Let's face it, when half the players in the game rely on buying gil as their primary way of making money we're going to see some real weird effects on the economy if they sellers are choked out.

Gil sellers weren't the only ones camping NMs, so they've chased away the average joe as well. Now we must rely on more time consuming and less rewarding ways to make money. If I see kiss at Wallbreacher it's SE I'm going to be pissed at.

( o.o) I dunno about less rewarding, Impaction. A good day or three of farming can rival an extremely iffy drop from Lizzy in my book.

As for time-consuming, I may be in the minority here, but I'd rather spend some time for a smaller, guaranteed reward than camp lizzy for six hours only to lose her to some THF45.

( -.-) And then repeat.

NM's are not the only way to make money...
besides, if the legitimate players want to get the LL, EP, or PC they'll just have to do the BCM. what's the big deal about that?

Double Post Edited:

I agree with you.

I've always had good luck with NMs, and have always relied on them. I shiver at the thought that I might have to farm. ; ;

Well you seem like a well versed player. So find somewhere that gives good drops where you wont die, and you'll be a made man. But I dont want to hear whining from grown men. Sheesh. . . ; ; whinin is for woman and elvaan mages wanting refresh ><

For the most part most people selling any of those drops on my server 9 out of 10 was a gil seller and not a normal "this is my bread and butter" player that needs gil.

Hmmm, well - when the avarage players can just get these rar/ex items without having to pay for them, they wont need as much money -- for other items maybe, but atleast they haved a bunch getting these items for "free" now ^^; That's how I look at it heehee ... But then again, I love love love farming :P

I camped Lizzy from time to time, Emp once or thrice, mostly Ghelsba NMs because the drops are 1/10 usually and sell for 100k+ a piece. It's mostly money for food and chocobo costs, aka costs of living. Armor I've been able to resell and afford the next stuff, except for snipers, walkure, and lifebelt. One pair of leaping boots covered most of that, along with a few ghelsba NM drops.

I'm the king of Ghelsba. :| Been there since I first hit level 20 with my very first character.
