Fame And Zoning

Just a quick question.
when you raise your fame doing quests, I heard somewhere, some time back (can't remember where) that zoning back and forth between different places can lower your fame.
Is this true?

Just felt I had to use the info just incase, since I'm doing the gobbebag quest. If so, then does it depend on which places you zone between?

I'm sure I heard somewhere though that zoning caused ''SOMETHING'' to be lowered ingame.
What about Rank points? Hmm..... makes me wonder about it.

You're probably just confused.

Some repeatable quests require you to zone before you can re-do them. An example of this is the quest in Bastok Markets where you trade a NPC some cooking supplies (Wild Onions are one of the items) for gil. After you do it once, you can zone out, back in, and do it again.
