Not many have sea, and very have even got to see this. This is the rest of sea you can't get to. Looks the same except for these.

I'm guessing you used the ffxitool or something of the like to these unreachable places? If you managed to get into hu'xzoi #3 (Ou'hpat Obelisk) I wonder if you can get into another Lumoria sounding area - Empyrial Paradox. While it's extremely likely it's just a BC arena some pictures would be nice if it's possible since SE is making us wait yet another 1/6th of a year to get any more story : /

Hmmm. Those blue symbols above those glowing red teleporter-like things (the angular parts that point out to the sides), are just like the symbols you see when you get Brand of Dawn and Brand of Twilight.

I know I tried out the new glowing red columns of light in Al'Taieu (Auroral something-or-other), over near the east and west towers (in the last patch they were visible but untargetable), after beating Hu'Xzoi. But all they did was teleport you back to the entrance of Al'Taieu - convenient for people doing 8-1 for Hu'Xzoi access.

Haven't tried going back now that I have Brand of Dawn/Brand of Twilight. Probably still won't do anything though.

Of course, the *other* blue symbols above the teleporters are quite familiar ... Tu'Lia or crags, anyone?

As for how i did this... i really don't want to say..... because people could use this for bad stuff (i just use it to explore zones like this).

More about the parts of sea you can't reach.
-There are the normal red portals (some on land)
-3 areas up there you can't reach (NW, N, NE.. not new zones just just parts of the map you can see already).
-Each area has one of the blue portal things.

Ou'Hpat Obelisk is just a zone right now.. with a teleporter in the back like in the grand palace. I'm 100% sure its a bcnm zone (can't bring it up in the translator) or might be because you shouldn't be able to get there lol.

Yep, always double light.

Also theres no mobs or targetable things yet. (need to wait till they release the rest of the zone before mobs and stuff get put in there... sigh)

As for getting to Empyrial Paradox... no clue where that is... but by the sounds its i think it might be a bcnm like you said. Haven't seen anything in FFXI tool that would look like that zone.

*Edit... changed zone name.... had wrong one up... orz

The unreachable areas would likely be a perfect place to position new (trigger) HNMs, following Tulia's trend.

Also, Louie, what <position> on the map is the zone to Obelisk located?

Are there wide open spaces around the unreachable areas? I'm really excited because I think these are the perfect areas to place HNMs.

Very Interesting. Are there any other zones not accessible yet that you can get into? There are supposed to be Dynamises for Qufim, Valkurm, Tavnazia and I remember waaaaay back around the introduction of Dynamis seeing pictures of SE testing Dynamis zones for Ronfaure & Sarutabaruta. The Ronfaure one had Shadows and the Saruta one had Behemoths. Someone else here should remember that (I'm not sure if I saved the pictures or the source but I think it was from mid March or early/mid April 2004). There's also supposed to be Diorama-Purgonorgo. Can you get into any of those and bring back early reports for those zones?

Can you get into Mordion Gaol via your technique and get any interesting info on it, like how many cells it has or if there are sections of it besides the prison cells?

And I remember seeing reports of places named Lower Promyvion and those Hall of Transference maps having an exit arrow to something called Crystalline Subterrane. Are those zones accessible by whatever technique you use?

I'm just really curious about what is to come and all the stuff that lies hidden and dormant in the game.

Areas which are included in the CoP datafiles and are not released yet are as follows:

Lower Promyvion
Ou'Hpat Obelisk
Empyreal Paradox
Diorama Abdhaljs - Purgonorgo Isle
Dynamis - Tavnazia
Dynamis - Qufim
Dynamis - Buburimu
Dynamis - Valkurm

So unless anything new gets added into the Area listing then there's not a lot to look forward to as far as new areas go. Regarding the Hall of Transferrance map I think that was a preliminary map that was taken out at the last minute. There's no such place as Crystalline Subterrane listed and I think that's just referring to Promyvion itself.

No, i can only get to new zones that require walking and zoning into, anything that requires me to check a ??? or something i can't get to (because the ??? or thing isn't turned on in the sever yet and won't take me there)

Umm, gms are the only people that can put you in there, but i've been there enough to tell you exactly what it is. Its that one room repeated about 15 times (maybe more) all spread out. The room is very small and people can't hear you outside your room. Its like solitary confinement to say the best lol.

As far as that goes i've only seen dynamis Qufim and Valkurm maps from the model viewer, no tavnazia yet. The zones do look cool (whats better than having to revist zones that give you nightmares lol).

Now to clear what i said, i have not been to the zone physicaly, only seen what the map looks like in game (no mobs or anything just the map).

Theres no wide open spaces really, well no bigger than whats at the bottom of the map (which has bigger open areas than the top does). As each area requires you to zone into it somehow it could be possible, but i doubt it because theres the 2 leftover pillers (i'll stop there not to spoil anything, if you did or on the mission you'll know what i'm talking about), and the middle one zones you to Ou'Hpat Obelisk.

To add to that list of unreachable zones, "The Last Stand" has been kicking around in the data files for quite some time (since Zilart?) and has yet to be used.

i believe zilart iasnt done yet and there is still current zilart mission at log... :dead:

As soon as you register Zilart, there's a "current mission" for it. Zilart is different from country missions after all. With those you can be currently on mission X, or on mission Y, or on mission Z, or *on no mission at all*. With Zilart, you're never not on a mission. Complete one and you're automatically on the next one.

And the final "current mission" for Zilart is pretty vague and not exactly telling you to do anything.

Which basically translates to: "You're done with this story, but there may be other stories added later." Admittedly, there's still a few loose plot threads (Lion mainly, especially after seeing the cutscenes with Aldo and with Gilgamesh afterward), so it's not like they *can't* keep adding missions ...
