I like this game more and more, could be the worst addiction! :sweat: Especially I like FFXI people: cheerful and helpful, thx guys. :)

how is it impossible to play? can you not use the same address you used before?
alot of americans used fake JP addresses to play the game when it was only out in japan.

Very easy. First, Russia is not even on list of countries playonline is linked with. Second, the fastest internet speed you can get there is 4-8 kb/sec. So.... really have no choice.:(

4-8kb/sec sounds like a regular 56k dial up connection. And ya know what, FFXI works on dial up. Also, it doesnt matter that you're IN russia. You've made a playonline account, you can access it anywhere in the world as long as you're on the internet.

Nice, but I think I'll be downloading playonline update during few days. More facts: internet pavement (for that low speed) is per hour- $2. So if I play 5 hours every day (not counting downloading time)... :dead: Well, I have given account to a friend to keep, if there will be any the smallest chance to get back to game, I'll do without dragging!
P.S.: so once you see my char there doing some bullsh.... I mean acting strangely- it's not me anymore.

This bites, I really think you should complain to the goverment so they will give you cable atleast :(

Tell them it's for the sake of the country ; ; Because if you don't get cable your gonna go crazy and thats not good.
