I'm trying to get this so I can keep more new armor/weapons + items when go xping. I cant seem to get the quest, and I'm not sure what my fame is. Right now my rice balls are at 148. What price do rice balls need to be at to get the quest?

BTW, i'm only posting in beastmaster forum cuz its more active than the quest forum

I think you need fame in all nations (jeuno, bastok, sans, windurst).

Isnt rice balls a way to only measure Norg Fame?

Yes, riceballs indicate Norg/Teshendo fame, not Jeuno. To check Jeuno fame, talk to Mendi (NPC) across from magic shop in Lower Jeuno. To build Jeuno fame, simply do quests in all the other cities, and some in Jeuno too. Not sure what fame level you need to activate Gobbiebag quest.

Um...

I got Hero Fame in jeuno, and only have done Genkei 1, RSE, and 2 Gobbie Bags. (have since done 2 more Genkei, and another GB) Most of my Jeuno Fame came from the Selbina Quest, with Boyahdo Moss. (12 stacks, i think) (i made an /item "Boyahdo Moss" <t> macro ;p)

That boosts Sandy/Bastok/Selbina fame (with Rabao, and Jeuno by default).

I went to the guy in selbina and traded him 9 stacks of boyahda moss. Then I was able to do gobbiebag 1 and 2. I was also able to start the quest with the street lamps and the one for the map of delk. tower.
