Ancient Magics: A Preposition In Aquisition

On Midgard, where I'm from, ancient magics are usually ~150-250k and are in infrequent supply. I would like to see a new method of obtaining these spells other than the HNM drops. I propose that the ancient magics be a reward from the avatar fights. This would be a good way to ensure that a constant supply is available with a decent amount of work. This would cut their prices down by a large fraction. One can already get a few decent pieces of gear from these fights, why not get a few spells too?

Anyway its just a thought. I know these aren't the greatest spells to have, so why must they be a total pain to get? I seriously doubt that if every BLM had these spells that the game would be unbalanced by this. Not many people continuously use AM in parties, so it wouldn't be detrimental in this respect. Like to hear what you guys think..

I think, while they're at it, they should make Balmung a drop from the avatars, and Ridill, and Kraken Club, and Hauberk, and Verm Cloak, and...

You get the picture =P But yeah, while that would be awsome, sometimes you just have to work hard for the things you really want. Square can't go making *everything* easy for us =P

Ancient Magic is a luxury item for BLMs. Flashy, pretty, but not particularly useful most of the time.

I remember when ancient spells were dirt cheap (except Flare.) They sure made them precious by changing how you obtain em ^^;
