Whats some good equipment to be an oldschool BLM?

I'm not hardcore into this game anymore so at higher levels I just wanna look like an oldschool Final Fantasy BLM, any suggestions on what gear is best for that classic look?

yeah just wear the AF.. It looks the coolest.. I like the way AF1 looks though :)

Pre AF. Go any Robe and Hat.

I know that most BLM will aim for Cloaks as they have INT modifiers, but I think they only look good on tarutaru. And that Seers set that came with CoP.

But if you want the old school FF BLM try Travelers Hat along with Wool Robe and Wool Slops at around 35-4o or something, Fungus Hat is nifty too. Tactican Magician's is where the real pimpage begins to hit in. Ever seen them War Warlocks in Windy? That's the stuff.
It even has INT modifiers on the robe. ^^

That is pretty much what I did, being such a fashion whore.
Although I did wear the Combat Caster Cloak at 4o, and the Mithra RSE when I got it. Damn those stats...
Had the Cloak until my beloved Tactican Magicians at 5o, but the RSE stayed until I got my AF pants.
I looked like a fanservice marshmallow neko at the 4o-5o gap. @_@

AF is modelled after older FF games, so there you go. If you're a taru you definitely look cooler in blm AF :P

I always thought Black Cloak (lvl 20 +1 int cloak) was pretty oldschool Blm gear. I still have fond memories of wearing it.
