Armor at l50

(Um.) get full I.M cause you need the defence as Pld. I just like seeing Pld's in the best affordable gear always, they don't have to have the 1337 gear to be good but they need at least the best armour without +1+2 stats :)

no you sell brigandine and buy Iron Musketeers, better then Mythril and Brigandine. You buy a Tactitian's Magicians Espadon, T.K. Shield or R.K. Shield, 2 Phalanx Rings (+10 DEF each - optional) well that what i bought lol :thumbsup:

2 VIT = 1 DEF. So really 2 rings at 10 DEF is another 20 def.

I choose DEF over my Vit for right now. I love it when im Protect 3, Sentinaled, Defendered, and food i have 562 DEF.

That was my set up all the way til 55, then I changed up, got enough cash and changed my Body (RK Chainmail), Legs (RK Chainmail), Hands (AF Gloves), Boots (AF boots), Collar (IM Gorget), Mantle (Rep. Mantle), and Rings at 54 (the +3 ones) and my belt (RSE belt)

Wear full I.M. except for the gloves and boots, they suck. Gloves and boots should be either Kampf (it is still good on these slots) or R.K. Also get TM Espadon or weep as your hate control dies against heavy DD's. :spin: If you are using food (Boiled Crab is no longer acceptable--use Fish Mithkabob or Shallops Tropicale) then you have plenty of Def so stick with VIT rings. Your VIT is going to steadily decrease over the next 7 levels (10 if you don't get Gluttony Sword) so keep those VIT rings for a solid basis in the attribute.

Allow me to add that the early 50's seem to be a time when people have no clue where to level when. Don't let anyone talk you into going to Kuftal Tunnel before 53. Kill Chamber Beetles in Garlaige with a party of 49-51 and Helm Beetles in CN with groups of 52-54.

Good info on the 50ish lvling areas, I'm hating it now, I was in Quicksand caves, and got killed every night. Stupid ass AOE Silence.

But now im 52 in CN and the XP is awesome, then I think at 53 I'm gonna try Boyahda Tree. But i have to get my AF Gloves. Stupid Eldieme Necropolis.

Ja, I just started leveling my PLD again, and if it weren't for the high traffic on my ISP, I'd probably be 40 already. @_@
Anyway, I picked up some new gears and I plan on keeping most of this for until well past 50, I'd like your opinion...

Ammo: None, but I was thinking of picking up Morion for the +3 MP.

I was debating for the ear and hand slots; I'm going to keep the feet (9 DEF +3 VIT) until I get AF, because I.M Sobatons is only 10 DEF. The Elvaan RSE hands have low DEF, but add that whopping +24 MP. I like MP. And I was told to switch to those +AGI earrings, (If I did, I'd have +13 AGI...@_@; ) But I like my setup, and it works great for me, I only take on occasion 40+ DMG from Worker Crawlers, and on the average, 33-35 DMG per hit. I use Seafood stew as well, that works wonders. With protect and everything @ 37 I have roughly 280 DEF with food and equip setup. I was just wondering if maybe I should get rid of the hands and sell the energy earings for I.M hands @ 40, and get Drones for the ear slot. Just wanted to hear what the peanut gallery had to say. ;_;

It's really up to you. If you're having problems with MP, then I would say yea, stick with your RSE Gloves. Being Hume like me, RSE is really a blah. Hume's don't have MP problems and such so technically I wouldn't recommend it but you're an Elvaan and that 24MP is a Cure II too so if you want keep it. IM Gauntlets are just there for DEF, but even then, you can go with the RK Gauntlets for accu (if you're having the accu issues).

As for the earrings, I would suggest go with a Merc. Earring since your Sub is war. Gives +2 VIT, hella helpful as you get higher. Hmm, again if you're having MP issues stick with the Holy Phial, if you're not, then go with the Medieval Collar.

Your Sword will switch out once you get to 42 for our AF1 which is the Honor Sword and you'll end up sticking with that til you get to 50, and by then you'll switch up to the Tact. Mag. Espadon and then you're stuck with that til you choose to get a Gluttony (which I think is required) at 58. If you have a static by this time and wouldn't mind you not having it then you're good, if you're looking for a party, it maybe a little hard, but who knows. Oh just to let you know Gluttony Sword doesn't come cheap ; ;.

At 48, you may wanna see if you'll have accu issues, cause at this lvl you may wanna purchase the Life Belt. Rings are good (verve's+1 are Def2 3VIT 10Earth right??). You can stick with em all the way til you need to get them +4's.

I stuck with my Cav Mantle cause Gaia is never available, was a cheaper alternative and my shield fired far more frequently before the patch with the -10 Evasion, and lvl'd it really high.

Not quite sure what I'm going to tell you about your legs and Feet. Seems that you're fine with em, but again, you can play around at 40. I went with the RS Breeches and IM Boots. You may wanna stick with the Kamp boots, but dunno about the legs. Again, it's your choice :D.

Sort of a Follow-up finisher... I hit level 42 Last night, and I picked up alot of my gears for level 42-55. I won't need anything until I hit 57, and need Glut (Minus AF.) But I did try out the I.M Gauntlets and found out that I took alot less damage, so I kept them over my RSE gloves. I always cary about 24 Juices on me (Thank you Gobbiebag VI!) So most times MP isn't a problem; and as soon as I get my Dark staff @51, The MP problem will be even less. (Although I don't want to think about leveling staff to what, 125 @ 51? ... It's zero now. -_- ; ) But here's my Setup until 50:
