Over 800 gilfarmers banned

On February 14, over 800 accounts which repeatedly violated the PlayOnline
Member Agreement were permanently banned from PlayOnline.

The users of these accounts would form groups to monopolize the hunting
spots of notorious monsters (NM). They also repeatedly performed harassment and MPK actions
against other players.

Grief tactics, including harassment, are listed in the PlayOnline Member
Agreement as violations and are not allowed for any reason. Also,
interfering other players' game play in order to monopolize
monsters which spawn in hunting spots is not allowed.

Based on the above, we have taken strict actions against players who have
violated the PlayOnline Member Agreement.

If you become a victim of harrasment, please make a GM Call and report the
issue directly to a Game Master.

Your understanding and cooperation will help us provide the best experience
possible to our players. Thank you!

that message is so cryptic, it's hard to tell who they banned really. they may not even have banned gilsellers, they could have banned mamario out of midgardsormr or others who could not have been gilsellers but are very prominent griefers.

perhaps everyone should do a /sea of all the most prominent gilsellers at different time intervals to see if they have been somehow affected.

Well there doesn't seem to be anyone missing in action on my server. People in Jeuno were checking out names and they were all there. I'm sure some people were banned but it didn't look like any of the big timers were. Ah well...

on rag logitech and crew = banned. skybird and crew = banned. Sussan and crew = banned. The only ones who didnt get banned are the ls ppl, losewu, vivankity(?). Logitech, skybird, sussan crew were the ones that were blatanly MPKing fishers, phantom wormers, and amemet hunters. So i'm pretty glad they are gone D:. hopefully SE will get around to banning ls ppl but they arent as bad as the names i listed above. The ls ppl actually gave back a devil manta >.>

The "ls crew" on Ragnarok are nowhere near as bad as the others. As hard as it may be to believe they actually seem to have some principles which is why I wasn't surprised to find them on search after the server crash.

i think the server "crash" was just a convenient cover-up to give the banned ppl no time to move their equips/gil before getting banned. look at the times of the crash/recovery and the notice...

The LS crew are just retarded...i've talked to them on several occasions. Few have died in front of me while I farmed. But I think the LS group is leveling now and not gilselling anymore...if you can believe it. I dont imagine what dumbass would invite one to their party.

You can't really encompass them as players or "not bad" because they're a bunch of different people playing the same accounts 24/7. One day they're idiots, one day not so much. Either way, they're still monopolizing. Same goes for Chinesgirl et co. who would MPK random people over Morion worm.

All of the Ls crew have so much fucking gil that the PLD now has full adaman, BLM has full Igquira, and one of them bought a scorpion harness.

Don't be so disconcerted. I'm on Titan and several groups appear to be gone now(I posted this in the news thread then just now saw this thread). Several groups appear to be gone from Titan, I've only done a couple of checks over the last few days though. However the Lmao, Arrr, Haaa group seems to be all offline. Also Bjgirl, Bxgirl, and all those miners also appear to be gone(the mines are free again!). And also a couple of the ordelle's campers are gone(I think), I can't remember all their names because there were 10+ of them.

We saw one of those farmers that wasn't banned pl alot of new people with weird names and being chinese like.

Only gil sellers I knew that were banned from Rag where Johan(whatever the rest was...) and Chiflygril... though I have seen new gil sellers pop up (just new to me... prolly been around for a while) Nozokimi seems to be just levelng (I don't /sea Nozokimi 24/7 so I dunno) and Pasco >.> think he was fish botting last time I saw him (Pre-patch).
