Some Questions (yay)

Hey guys, I recently got back into BST, so I took it up from 12 to 15. I did 15-16 today in Tahrongi, which was more fun than killing all the EPs til I level like I have been doing previously. Anyway, my strategy was to grab a DC High Def or an EM and send it against a T or EM. I would try to sneak in a few hits and maybe a Dia if my pet was losing too badly, and when the pet died the mob was left with under 20% of its HP left, which I could easily take out as a taru with some +STR. I forget exactly how much exp an hour I got, but it wasn't too bad, and now I'm level 16 with new armor and a new axe. However, when I was leveling, I noticed this rank 9 BST take an EM dhalmel, send it against whatever she can find until the dhalmel died. So anyway, I'm reading these boards trying to find a good way to go around leveling. I'm reading about people charming EMs and Ts and 2hring, and letting their pets kill everything in sight. Some of them said they get high chains with this. When I am leveling and using my method, I never get a chain. I would estimate the time between mobs well under 3 minutes, but I still don't get chains. I know when I was partying as RNG or something, we had a good 5 minutes to get chain #1. My questions are, is the method I have been using good? And when can I expect to see chains? Oh yeah, and does anyone know that BST-only site?

Before 17 (or 18 cant remember), just keep chaining EP in tahrongi, boring at hell but at least you get some money...

When you start /check'ing bats EM in maze of shakrami (i think at 17, maybe 18), you will be able to get some chain, bats > worms works pretty well ^^

Exp will be ok till 20 i think. After that i dont think you will see many chain before 35 ^^; (you should sub war or nin and try to pt in valkrum qufim etc... i did pt in qufim from 20 till 24, then solo'd in bubu (leech vs pugs), and pt'd in kazham from 28 to 30'ish (tiger pet rules ^^).

The first time I got good chains as BST was level 25, in Qufim. At night, I took bats and killed worms, I thought it was rediculous EXP. Until level 35 and Goblin pets in Altepa, that was just stupid (Chain #5 consistent, 200-280 EXP...) Too bad not every level is like that, often you need to grind on less than EMs....

Yeah, some levels are just better than others. Chains don't always happen, espcially at the lower levels. It's all worth it though, just stick it out!!

i cant remember but one of the beastmaster here, charmed a slime at lv. 23 and 2houred it and chained on spiders.
