Taru PLD equips....*Please Read*

Sup, My Taru PLD is level 51 and I have some questions for further level pld equips..

I understand Earth Staff is really more useful during HNM tanking but should i Get Dark Staff Now? Is it worth it ? Do i need it?

Gluttony Sword or however you spell it costs 260,988 gil on my server and is rising each day.. Should I farm for this sword or should i get Bloody Blade which has HP drain that only costs 70k?

Right now my taru has Warriors Belt.. should i switch out Belt for Life Belt?

And Last question, Should i get Vermillion Cloak which has 1mp/3 secs refresh gain (not sure if this is correct) or get a Byirine or however u spell it??

P.S. ^^^^^ If you know better equips for level 55-60 taru pld please let me know..

I would say, get the sword first, taht thing is close to 1mils in my server, but anyway, its very useful, and a dark staff should be ur next purchase. Extremely useful for regaining fast mp between fights when you are low. :)

Dark Staff makes a difference. I'm not a PLD but I can honestly say that. The Bloody Blade would be nifty for solo, but the HPDrain does not kick in often when you're up against ITs. Gluttony Sword is something you should also look into, and keep (for 60cap events, etc). The Verm Cloak is great, but it's 4mil~ on Ragnarok. I don't think it's 100% needed yet, but it would be useful. Maybe stop leveling for a bit at 60 and farm for it? Warrior's Belt has good stats, but by lv50 you should've upgraded. Life Belt is great, but use Steppe Belt instead. It might be costy, but HP+40, STR+2, VIT+5 (or something like that)... it's too good.

I'd aim for these; Chrysoberyl Ringx2, get a Jelly Ring once you've hit that lv (Sewer Syrup at Bostauenix), Behe Mantle (Beak Mantle if gil is issue, then upgrade into a Knightly Mantle), Steppe Belt, Cassie Earring (but it's costy like Behe Mantle), Dark/Earth/Light Staff, Gluttony Sword, etc.

I personally don't know, but maybe 1-2 Physical Earrings would be useful also. Converts 50MP to 50HP, since us TaruPLDs usually suffer from low HP, we could use these earrings to our advantage. Bomb Queen Ring (lv57) has HP+75. It's huge, but also requires a lot of effort.... if you can find help, go for it.

You should get 2 Physical Earrings (MP-25 HP+25) to balance out your lack of HP but vast MP supply.

You should perhaps get a Dark Staff; I bought one and I do occassionally use it but it is not a must buy. Only get if you have spare gil.

Do not get a Vermillion Cloak. Dark Staff is more than enough if you are concerned about MP, but you are Taru so it's no problem. :P

Gluttony is a really nice sword, far better then the HP drain swords since those rarely activate when fighting VT and IT mobs.
I would say it is worth saving up for but you are not necessarily gimped if you don't have one.

As for Belt I strongly recommend your Lv50 RSE Belt. It gives a nice HP boost as well as a VIT boost if I'm not mistaken.
