This thing took forever to make, and even than it's still pretty bad. This is the 3 minute scene where Tetsuya takes on an army of robots (you can't really tell how big the army is in my movie because I suck and I got lazy). When I went to render this the program showed that it'll take 356 hours to render :eek: so instead I just took snapshots frame by frame and than render those. I ended up taking 6000+ screenshots :sweat:

Ok heres the summary:
A scientist's experimental gene pool goes wrong when he creates a new breed of humans, dubbed Neo Sapians. He tries to kill them all but 4 manages to escape, the red guy being one of them. The scientist's son, Tetsuya (the white guy) is pronounced dead in a war, so when the scientist recieves the body, he puts it into the gene pool and brings him back to life. But his body is still weak so another scientist, the father of Luna, the girl Tetsuya is in love with, puts Tetsuya in a body suit which enhances his strength.

The 4 surviving Neo Sapians find a base full of robots and decide that since humans don't accept them, they must elimate all of humanity. The robot army is activated is set loose into the world wrecking havoc. One of the target is the home Luna's father. Tetsuya and Luna escape but runs into the red guy and his robot force. Tetsuya sees the red guy and gets a flashback. Earlier Tetsuya witnesses the red guy hijacking a car to escape, but with Tetsuya's mom inside. Remembering this Tetsuya screams and catches the attention of the robots. The red guy orders them to attack the building where the noise came from, and the battle commence.

Oh my God... O_o;

That's one of the best things I have ever seen. It doesn't have the most crispyest of graphics, but you make up with it for detail. You nailed every part of the scene perfectly, awesome job! ( You have waaaaay to much free time tho. ;)

I love that Casshern scene. :)

Crazy how you actually made the video and, very good job. I bought that movie casshern on dvd a while back too, but unfortunately, I found it to be very disappointing. It had potential, and it was good up to a certain point, but it just fell apart in alot of scenes. The scene your video is based on is the best scene in the whole movie lol. Why oh why couldn't there have been more of that in the movie.

Haha! When I watched this I couldn't help but laugh and then think how great the video was. I remember seeing the movie from a friend of mine who had it subtitled. It wasn't too bad I suppose, but it wasn't all that great either.

Anyways, nice work Sky. I haven't seen anything that good FFXI related in a while. :handsdown

I am curious about how you did it. I mean, I don't want to copy what you did or anything, but I'd like to know how you pulled it off. I always wanted to make a FFXI vid of this sort...
