I am just wondering if this is worth it.

I like the +VIT, but the -10 Evasion turns me off. PLDs dont already have the greatest evasion, but gimping it even more just turns me off.

But I want to hear what you guys think.

Also, I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for upgrades for my current armor

my advice is...... dont get it.

it will probly cause the enemy to hit you 2-3 more times during a fight, and at your level (can really remmember) that would probly cause you to take an extra 150 damage, the 2 vit wont make up for that. your gear is right awesome for your level so i wouldnt really worry about another few VIT if its gonna cost you something like 10 evasion.

It's useful for skilling up Shield however.

I'm using it. And yes even though I do get hit more often than not, my Parry and Shield went up faster than my freind's shield and parry skill. ATM either you use that or stick with the Wolf mantle til you get the Beak +1 mantle. I haven't heared any WHM's complain to me about taking any damages and so forth.

Gonna hold off on this then, I think there is a backpiece that gives +1 VIT at level 40.

Yea I think that is called Earth or Gaia mantle.. one of them.

I used a Wolf Mantle+1 from Lv28 - Lv55 and then switched to RAM (Rep. Army Mantle, 24k CP, Rank 6, Bastok) and use that ever since.

Don't forget the Knightly Mantle. Vit+4 and Def 8 or 10 (I forget). BCNM 60 item or roughly 150k on most servers - got mine for 140k on Bahamaut. Great lvl 60 item, I highly recommend it.

Knightly Mantle is around 600k on my server.

I would still choose R.A.M over it anyway.

Cause of the STR Dark?? Knightly Mantle looks too hot to pass up though hehe, and Ash, yea, I was thinking of the same item, I was wrong on the slot and the name LOL :-p.
